Hello,
I've started to compile a links page with the creamiest morsels floating on the top, as though it were milk in a bottle. You can see it here:
I'll have a nice icon for it soon enough.
More happening in the not too distant future.
Adieu.

News News News News News News News News...
Hello,
Things have been a little slow up here on the surface of the Foetal Orange, but things have been bubbling away nicely just underneath, ready to burst out in citrus pustules of joy.
Sweet Potato have completed the first phase of recording their new album - Cafe Brutal. Steve has gone back to New Zealand where he'll be recording the vocalisations. It's sounding beautiful.
FOETAL ORANGE #1 is very nearly ready now, and it too is sounding wonderful. I hope to have it up and ready to download around about christmas time, so look forward to that.
I'm aware that I may have pointed you in the direction of Drawn Recordings already, but I'm going to do it again because their new website looks lovely. It's always exciting to see new labels being set up.
So have a look - Drawn Recordings
Ciao for now.

Here you go:
Some noob music. Undulating improvisational electronica. It does what it wants.
Nice.

"Official Interuption" by The Radioactive Ensemble...
"Official Interuption" by The Radioactive Ensemble is a collaborative project ring mastered by Mr. Rick Jensen of The Rick Jensen Trio.
The music contained herein is abstract in nature, varied and exploratory. The use of the internet as a means of musical collaboration is something we should all try to engage in a little more, not as a new way, but as another way amongst the multitude of musical collaboration possibilities already available. Really great stuff.
You just don't know what sort of sounds you are going to be confronted with next. It's like a wonderful musical goody bag, not some cheap thing with a crap toy and some fizzy pop. Forward thinking, communal and experimental. A real triumph.

"An Experiment in Terror (Promo)" by Gianluca Licciardi...
Here is a Promo track from Italian producer and sound designer Gianluca "Schlock!" Licciardi's forthcoming release "An Experiment in Terror"
It is 12 minutes of varied music and sound collage. Swinging between heavy electronic riffage, melodic passages and post-rocking electro and undercut with industrial soundscapes, distressed wails and distorted radio noise, it's a good listen.

Last Show for Current Incarnation of Sweet Potato...
Hello,
Last night was the last outing for the current incarnation of Sweet Potato. It is a shame, but Steve must go back to New Zealand. Things will sort themselves out.
Anyway, here are a few photos from the show:
That's all for now.
Take care.

What's Going On..?
Good Evening,
Well, as you can see, things are slowly progressing - bit by bit - towards something that seems to make at least a touch of sense.
I am still working on putting together the next compilation, which would have been "My Formica Table Compilation #2", but which will now be "Foetal Orange Compilation #1". It's not too far off completion now, and artwork is on the way. Looking very nice.
If you are interested in being featured on this compilation, feel free to send a track to foetalorange@yahoo.co.uk .
Artists already confirmed to be featured include: Kronikel, Sweet Potato, SeeBeeOne, Honey Ride Me a Goat, Slovakia, E(ric)L Heath, The Radioactive Ensemble, What The Moon is Like & Team Brick.
It's going to be good.
More music will follow too.
Adieu.

FOETAL ORANGE...

Phoenix From t'Ashes...
Hello,
Foetal Orange is an independent Internet based promoter of free music and thinking. The aim is to help to promote a growing community of progressively minded musicians, artists and thinkers who are unaffraid of going where their ponderances take them.
It is really a continuation of "My Formica Table", which had to be closed down due to complaints that the net-label has likely caused "detriment" to the "distinctiveness" and "reputation" of the Formica trade mark.
Ah well.
So now it is to be Foetal Orange.
Hopefully things will pretty much be able to continue as normal. It might take a little while to get things properly sorted out. There were murmurs of change in the air anyway. I might as well embrace them and flow with the current.
Long Live Foetal Orange.
